Counted Cross Stitch

LanArte is well-known for its beautiful counted cross stitch kits of high quality. LanArte uses only one or two threads to embroider. Therefore the designs are always very detailed. Sometimes even two threads of two different colors are combined, to create the perfect transition.

LanArte has its own design team, which works together with renowned artist like illustrator Marjolein Bastin. Together they work on timeless as well as innovative designs. The designers start from a painting or image that evokes the LanArte atmosphere. They process them into a pattern that is easy to embroider. The designers give careful consideration to the color palettes used for each specific design. During a process of trial and error they check whether all details correspond. Only when every detail meets the requirements, the design goes into production. Every year, LanArte adds dozens of new designs to the existing collection.

The kit includes an enlarged charted design with clear symbols making the counting and stitching very easy. An embroidery kit includes Zweigart 100% cotton Aida or linen fabric, 100% cotton DMC yarn, together with a yarn organizer. You also get an embroidery needle, clear working instructions in 8 languages and a large full-color finished model picture.
